Today, Chibyke Global has officially launched its food exportation chain, making it easy for Nigerians to export food items from Nigeria to other countries.

Q: Which countries do you export food items to?

A: We export food stuff to countries like:

  • France
  • United States of America (USA)

  • Brazil
  • Dubai

  • Senegal
  • Bangladesh
  • Kenya
  • Turkey

Q: Whom do you ship these items for?

A: Our customers include Nigerian traders, retailers, and students that run restaurants and hotels abroad (i.e. African restaurants) and some individuals for their personal consumption.

Q: Which food items can you export for clients?

  • A: We export all kinds of food stuff such as vegetable oil, palm oil, cassava, and cash crops (e.g. cocoa, cashew nuts, coffee, millet, Guinea corn, bitter cola, cola nuts), Ginger and Garlic.

Q: Which food items are NOT allowed to be exported and why?

 

A: The ‘Banned’ food stuff includes:

  • Fish (Dry fish)
  • Cray fish
  • Locus beans(Ogiri)

The main reason is because international airlines do not accept these food items from passengers, due to the offensive odour.

 

Q: How long does it take for the food items to reach its destination by each country?

A: It takes a maximum of 4 – 5 working days for food stuff to reach the following countries:

  • Spain
  • Canada
  • United Kingdom
  • France
  • United States of America
  • Germany

It takes 2 (two) working days for food stuff to get to the following countries:

  • Ghana
  • South Africa

It takes 5-7 working days for exported food stuff to get to the following countries:

  • Italy
  • Holland
  • Brazil
  • Dubai
  • India
  • China
  • Senegal
  • Bangladesh
  • Kenya
  • Turkey
  • South Africa
  • Indonesia
  • Malaysia

Q: Apart from food items, what other commodities can Chibyke Global export from Nigeria to other Countries?

 

A: Nigerian-made products such as;

  • Body cream,
  • Hair Relaxer,
  • Local fabrics (Ankara and Adire materials)
  • Cement,
  • Coal,
  • Crude oil,
  • Personal effects like shoes, boxes, clothes, documents,
  • African art work (Portrait design, sculptural design, Ceramic design, marble design, beads).
  • Books
  • Anointed water & oil for churches, but must have NAFDAC registration number.

    What do you charge for the items shipped into these countries and do you ship for individual consumption too?

    • Dear Balanle , our prices per kilo depends on the quantity of goods you are exporting at a time and also ship for individuals consumption as well.

    Hello! Is it possible to ship insects, such as dried and cooked termites, to the United States from Nigeria? I know they are sold at local markets, but there are currently no companies that sell termites online to the United States. Thanks!
